  2. This is the demo version of PaperOut for RISC OS.
  3.  
  4. It requires RISC OS 3.1 and 2 MB of RAM.
  5.  
  6. PaperOut is a retrieval software for Electronic Book CDs
  7. which have up to now only been usable with the Sony DATA
  8. Discman.  There are already over 200 CD-ROM titles
  9. available (encyclopedias, dictionaries, guides), which
  10. conform to the Electronic Book standard developed by
  11. Sony.

  13. PaperOut is THE software which enables you to use these
  14. Electronic Books with your Acorn Archimedes. Many
  15. well known dictionaries and reference books are now
  16. available for RISC OS. These include:

  19.   Oxford Dictionary of Quotations
  20.   Shakespeare: The Complete Works
  21.   Webster's Dictionary of English Usage
  22.   Compton's Concise Encyclopedia

  24.   NTC's Dictionary of American Idioms and Slang
  25.   Hutchinson Encyclopedic Dictionary
  26.   CIA World Fact Book
  27.   Electronic TIME OUT 4 City Guide
  28.   Electronic TIME OUT London Guide
  29.   AA Hotels and Restaurants in Britain and Ireland
  30.   Michelin Guide France
  31.   Michelin Guide Germany
  32.   Hugh Johnson's Wine Guide
  33.   Collins Gem Electronic Food File
  34.   New Joy of Sex
  35.   Penguin Listen And Read books for children
  36.   SEPC's English Teacher 
  37.   King James Bible

  39. The demo version of PaperOut contains its own Electronic
  40. Book which includes a catalog of available Electronic Books.
  41. Two volumes of the demonstartion Electronic Book ("The CIA
  42. World Fact Book" and "Our Solar System at a Glance") are not
  43. included in this demo because of space limitations.

  45. The demo will not open any other Electronic Books but otherwise
  46. supports all features of the full version.
